In 2007, Fujitsu won a joint contract with Mitchells and Butlers (MAB) offering a joint service Outlet Managed Services and IMACS (Installation, Moves and Changes) with the companies 2000 Restaurants and Pubs throughout the UK. Initially, Agora Solutions partnered Fujitsu in the design and proposal of the solution ensuring that all key deliverables where detailed and met.

Following Fujitsu’s successfully award of a five year contract, Agora Solutions won the business to partner Fujitsu across Mitchells and Butlers entire estate to provide a fully managed I.M.A.C service for all Major Refurbishments and existing sites. A complete service is offered, from Service Delivery, Project Office, Project Administration, Stage/Build, Project Management and Engineering.

Fujitsu’s choice of Agora Solutions for this business was due to the expertise and knowledge of the Hospitality Industry and the versatile nature and attitude of the Agora Team in delivering these projects, where scope change and time change are the norm.

Each Building project is allocated to an Agora IMACS Project Manager (PM), who liaises with the MAB Construction Managers, Designers and Architects to ensure the complex IT Systems are installed within the timelines of the project. Agora Solutions Project Managers are also used as consultants in ensuring that the correct equipment is installed and located to maximise sales on site. A further requirement is the design of the outlet infrastructure Data and Power Cabling and telecommunications systems.

In conjunction with the On-Site activities, our dedicated Hotstage Team, build, stage and test, off-site, the EPOS Equipment. The Hotstage Team then tailors and configures the equipment to meet the exact requirements of each site. Every piece of equipment is tested off-site to mirror the set up on site.

Installation engineers then deploy the equipment to the same high standards to ensure that the quality of installation is consistent throughout the U.K.
