OKI Printing solutions are one of the countries major suppliers of top of the range printers to the private and public sectors in the UK.

The Department of Enterprise ~Trade and Investment (DETI) is responsible for the government insolvency service. As part of their business modernisation project they have developed new IT systems which include the upgrade and replacement of their existing printer network

During 2008 OKI Printing solutions were requested to provide a dual contract to the Insolvency Service in conjunction with IBM to upgrade a number of their existing printing machines and to install a number of new printing machines nationwide.

Agora Solutions were approached to provide a range of services to the project including Project management, Training, Engineering, Logistics and Administration.

The project required the transportation of new OKI printers to site, provision of specially trained IT engineers to visit all U.K sites to either upgrade existing printers or build and calibrate the new printers on site, train key staff members and liaise with IBM to enable the printers to be added to the existing infrastructure.

A comprehensive Project Administration service was provided to ensure all sites were fully informed of schedules and that prepared documentation was fully completed and forwarded according to requirements.

Although the lead-time for the installations was challenging, Agora Solutions were able to deliver a first class service to all their customers’ satisfaction.
